Cost savings
COLOROUT creates natural surfaces with the advantages of asphalt surfaces. This saves maintenance costs compared to water-bound road surfaces. Puddles, washouts and erosion are history.

Light surfaces reduce the heating of the coverings. COLOROUT surfaces therefore actively contribute to avoiding urban heat islands. Lounges for people, such as parks, paths and squares, can thus also be used in summer.

Longer product life cycle. Quartzes and granites are among the most robust rocks. The ColorOut system uses this effect through its mineral wear layer. Studies show that a 5 times longer service life is possible compared to conventional cold plastics.
100% safety
The natural granites and quartz give a built-in grip. The grippy surface is high over the service life and ensures a high level of road safety — whether it's rain or snow.

Only 1 kilogram of plastic insert per m2. The wear layer consists of 5-6 kilograms of natural sands. This minimizes microplastic emissions when using the areas. With conventional rubbing plastics, approx. 6 kilograms of plastic are applied to the floor.
Slip resistance for your wooden bridges
Traffic risk
Bridges very often cross bodies of water and are therefore moist longer than adjacent traffic areas. The wood also stores moisture in the surface for longer. Algae and mosses thus have a longer vegetation phase to form a slippery surface.

The surface coating protects the wood from abrasion and moisture. The useful life is therefore increased.
How do asphalt and concrete become a COLOROUT surface?
With this innovative approach, you can finish your asphalt or concrete pavement sustainably and cost-effectively.
1. Pattern
The COLOROUT system is available in up to 20 different colors and screen lines. There is a wide range of applications in the public and private sectors. We would be happy to assist you with color selection samples.
2. Planning
The system can be used on concrete and asphalt. In the case of existing surfaces, it is important to check whether cracks or irregularities are being prepared. The coating will take on the roughness of the substrate. This can be either intentional or unintentional. If necessary, it is recommended to create a sample area. We are happy to provide sample service texts for planners.
3. Consumption
The system is based on an epoxy resin and grit. This means that the following is required per square meter:
- approx. 1 kg vdw 700 or vdw 750 coating agent
- approx. 6-8 kg hard rock (quartz or granite)
4. Processing
The binding agent is applied to the dry surface and is immediately freshly sprinkled with the natural stone. We are happy to certify specialist companies and train you in the correct use of the ColorOut system. The exact processing can be found in the technical data sheet in the Downloads section.

Approximately 30% of water-bound road surfaces consist of fine sediments. They require regular renewal. And are therefore complex to maintain. Puddle formation, erosion, increased dust formation are decisive disadvantages.
(Right) - vdw COLOROUT
The natural look of a water-bound road surface is combined with the advantages of asphalt. The slope is retained, meaning dirt can rain off and puddles do not form. Dirt such as leaves can be removed with a leaf blower or broom.

Is the application of GFTK systems complicated?
No, the coating is mixed and spread over the surface. The vdw 700 system is optionally available in faster and slower versions. The quick version is suitable for road construction. Quick traffic clearance is important there. The slow version is suitable for design surfaces. Here, the longer processing time makes it possible to apply with the roller or for inexperienced users.
